Tiny Space Gardening

About Tiny Space Gardening!

My story

My love for gardening started when I was a young boy watching my meGrandmother water her flower beds and being curios about what all the different plants were. I also remember helping my Grandfather build a half acre garden where we grew so many vegetables we couldn’t eat all of them and had to give a lot away! Later in life I worked for a garden center where I was able to find my true passion of working in greenhouses growing plants and getting them ready to sale to other plant loving people. Here I learned many different methods of growing in tiny spaces. I learned about square foot gardening, patio gardening and indoor gardening. Over the years I have continued to learn and try new techniques and products that have allowed me to keep gardening even though I don’t have the space I did as a kid with my Grandparents.

When I was working at the garden center I saw the need that people had to have someone to help with their gardening needs. I loved being able to help people to grow plants. Some people are naturally able to grow plants (green thumb), while others just seem to kill everything they touch. Unfortunately these brown thumbs lose the joy of gardening and I wan to help them find the joy in gardening again. Today most of us live in a place where we are limited on space to grow. Whether you are a green thumb or a brown thumb my hope is to come in and help work around these limited spaces.

My desire and goal is to help others learn how to garden in small or tiny spaces. The more our population grows, and the more apartments and suburbs that are built the less space there is to have large areas to garden. The good news is that you don’t need a lot of space to grow food, flowers or even trees! My hope is that I can help you to enjoy the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from growing and sustaining a living substance.
